This is the face you’re supposed to make when you sit in a director’s chair

I'm a documentary filmmaker who lives in the woods of northern Minnesota. My films have screened at some pretty neat festivals, theaters and venues around the world including SXSW, Slamdance, the Banff Mountain Film Festival, the National Geographic Society and the Explorer’s Club.

I’ve also directed and produced TV spots and other video content for hospitals, universities and non-profit organizations. I always enjoy listening to people’s stories and shaping them into compelling narrative nuggets.

This is the part of my biography where I’m supposed to brag about all of the awards I’ve won. Let’s just say I have a drawer full of them and leave it at that. I’m from Minnesota, so I find this whole subject slightly mortifying.
