You may have seen this Arctic crime caper on the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour in 2013. Or at the Explorer’s Club in New York City. Or maybe you knew Wild Bill Cooper. He really got around, whether it was on his snowmobile for a series of legendary expeditions or in his airplane to smuggle a whole lot of not-precisely-legal items throughout the 1970s.
You can learn more about Wild Bill's Run at the official website. Or watch an interview with me talking about the film here. And I still sell DVDs for this one! I’m currently looking at a huge box of them sitting in my office.
This was my first feature-length documentary. I got to use a ton of never-before-seen 16mm footage of the Arctic. Which was pretty thrilling.
